Coach Outlet,Coach Outlet Canada Online Store
When Coach Outlet launched its Heritage collection this Summer, the clean, classic lines and '70s-inspired shapes were an instant hit. Many of you expressed joy that you could simply buff up your mom's vintage Coach bag and start wearing it again. Reed Krakoff, Coach Outlet 's creative director, said of the brand, "Heritage is our hallmark," which is why they went back to the archives for their latest colors. Eggshell, vermillion, and lime were first used by the company in the '70s, and we drummed up one of the original ads that highlights that super '70s vermilion shade. It's a testament to the brand that the bags are still so chic. If you are one of the lucky ones who inherited a vintage Coach bag, Coach women's handbag designer Elisa gave us a helpful hint for making it look brand new: "to remove dirt and condition after cleaning, apply leather moisturizer evenly with a clean, soft cloth using circular strokes, then wipe off the residue and buff gently to produce a natural luster." Click the slideshow to see two of Coach Outlet Canada's original ads (one features the now heritage Stewardess bag) and highlights from the new collection.
Before she was a major name in American fashion, Anna Sui was a little girl whose mother dressed her "like a doll." Which means getting a military vehicle as a Christmas present probably wasn't on brand. "As a little kid, we used to go to my father's fraternity, and they'd have a Christmas party," Sui told us at a party for her collaboration with Coach last month. "One year I got a truck an Army truck and I just thought, 'boy that's really a gyp!' Then many years later I found out that this uncle spent his own money and bought everybody's kid a present. So I think it was just a mix up, you know, an oversight, whatever. But I was really disappointed back then on that day." Sui added that she'll be spending the holidays with her family in Bloomfield Hills, MI. "I love the holidays because I have nine nieces and nephews, so it's very Christmas-y to buy Coach Outlet presents and toys," she said. "I'm hoping that I can give my nieces some of these bags, but I don't know what I wish to receive." Hopefully it won't be another truck.
Why it's worth it: Don't let the fact that you'll find this perfect, will-only-get-better-with-wear leather weekender in Coach's men's section bother you; you can find some pretty amazing stuff there (try the boys' department at J.Crew, for example, or that cashmere pullover you borrowed from your boyfriend and Coach Outlet Canada aren't giving back). The fact is that this weekender isn't just gender neutral, it's a classic. It's the kind of luggage that looks like you inherited it from a grandparent with its timeless, unassuming shape and luxe finish. Since we weren't so lucky, it's also the kind of piece we wouldn't mind investing in on our own a piece that will give us that sophisticated, world-traveler look, no matter where we're headed. Plus, years from now, we will be the grandparent that gifts our granddaughter (or grandson) with this perfect travel companion one that we suspect will look just as gorgeous then as it does now.
