The gate breakers are available for different material diameters and are suitable for breaking gates into smaller portions. Based on this, the further transport is simplified and the remelting process is facilitated. This saves time, energy and reduces production downtimes.
The gate breaker can be operated separately or in combination with an Andromat® manipulator system. The ingate to be broken is fed to the gate breaker and will be fixed in a 3-point support. The crushing process is optimized in such a way that the outer ends of the gate material bend downwards for safety reasons.
In order to avoid the introduction of force feedback into the feeding mechanism, the bottom plate of the gate breaker is supported on a combination of flex blocks. The ideal working position of the gate breaker is directly above the feed chute.
